Kari wishes that people would offer to help with everyday tasks without her having to ask.

I think like just the everyday stuff, somebody to, you know, if I had a family member, if the tables were turned, I’d probably go, if it was one of my kids or something, I’d probably go to their house once and week and clean their house for them. So, that’s one stress that’s off and they don’t have to feel, you know, bad that they weren’t able to get that done for their family. So, it’s a lot of the, you know, the ADLs, the activity of daily living things. It’s the meals, it’s you know, the house work, the getting groceries, the things that you used to do all the time, as you know, as being the mom and now, or the spouse, and now I just, I wish sometimes somebody would just say, “I’ll just come and do it for you,” without feeling like you’re a bother.
